Health Guarantee
We are located in Southern Illinois approximately 45 minutes east of St. Louis, Missouri. If you are unable to pick up your puppy I will assist getting it to you via land or air. This would come at an additional charge.
Sugar Creek Labradors strives to produce happy healthy puppies without genetic defect. Before any pup leaves it will be checked by a certified veterinarian a minimum of three times. If, and only if, the veterinarian gives a clean bill of health the pup will be allowed to leave our kennel.
The purchased puppy will have a 1 year guarantee from date of birth against any disorder found to be genetic, that cause the death or severe debilitation of puppy. There must be a vets written opinion at the buyers expense. Sugar Creel Red Labradors will not be responsible for vet expense of puppy incurred while in possession of the new owner. The puppy must be returned at the buyers expense. The sellers vet will also inspect the puppy to determine if there is a life threatening or severely debilitating health issue. At the sellers discretion, the puppy will be replaced as soon as a litter becomes available or the cost of said puppy refunded to the buyer minus the deposit. The puppy will be vet checked, wormed and vaccinated according to its age at the time of purchase. It is up to the new owner to continue wormer and vaccine on schedule and protect the puppy from contaminated grounds until the vaccination is complete. This contract does not cover accidents or neglect which leads to life threatening or debilitating disorders. It is up to the new owner to provide quality food, adequate shelter, protection from the heat and cold and vet care. Failing to take proper care of puppy voids this contract. The puppy must be taken to a licensed vet within 72 hours of delivery to insure the puppy gets checked out. Failure to do so voids this contract. This initial contact with the vet must be documented and a detailed record recorded. Conditions brought on by stress of shipping, delivery, the stress of being in a new home, or environmental conditions, such as kennel cough, coccidian, allergies and demodectic mange are not covered in this contract. These conditions should be monitored by your vet and treated accordingly. Do not neglect any type of coughing, diarrhea, vomiting, or unusual behavior in your puppy as they can decline quickly.
I do take a $300 non-refundable deposit for current and future litters. Without a deposit there is no guarantee your puppy will be held. Male pups cost $1000 and females are $1100.
My dogs all are registered through AKC. Upon purchase you will be provided paperwork to register your pup as "limited AKC". This means your pup will be registered but if your pup is to sire or have puppies in the future those pups will not be able to be registered.
